OPHÉLIE RENAUDIN
In the wine region of Santa Ynez, I was in charge as the associate designer to renovate this house from the 1960s.
The challenge was to transform the "dark and dated" 4677 sqft ranch into a warm, pleasant place while retaining its atypical and original spirit that makes all its charm.
The rooms have been completely re-designed and the spaces open to the maximum to gain volume and brightness while improving traffic flow.
It was also essential to design around the clients' works and to leave as much exhibition space as possible for new works.
We have imported blue stone from Belgium and have all kitchen and bathroom furniture done by a French company. The aim was to use noble materials and bring a European touch to the project.
